Not an arsenal fan but a keen admirer.

I personally think that higuian is too immobile for our league and would rather see that money spent elsewhere. Really like the fellaini rumours would be great addition.

According to papers today: demba ba to be sold and cisse to hand in transfer request due to shirt sponsor. Both would be a lot cheaper, any thoughts?

(2)
(1)

Second rate strikers.

They are being sold because Chelsea are looking to win the league and know they need better upfront.

Higuain has a goal scoring record that makes him one of the most lethal strikers in Europe only if he came to Arsenal he would be our 30+ goal striker we've been missing.

Got any ideas on arsenal targets for the transfer window ed?
Thanks {Ed052's Note - A bit off the top of my head but Arsenal have an interest in a striker still and have certainly looked at Adrian Lopez, Lewandowski, Negredo, Shakhtar Donetsk's Adriano (as a cheaper option to Damiao). There has also been interest shown in Udinese's right back Dusan Basta. In midfield I think the club made a mistake not pushing ahead with the purchase of Wanyama in the summer but Benat and the more flexible Mbiwa have been looked at recently. There has also been a little interest in the likes of Markovic, Lars Bender, Konoplyanka and Hatem Ben Arfa but I cannot see anything coming to fruition there and it is likely more wishful thinking than anything serious. It is hard to see what interest remains in the likes of M'Vila, Llorente, Dragovic and Wanyama who were all previously of interest. I understand that interest in Holtby is still there and clearly there is interest in Zaha. -courtesy of Ed002}

Ed do you know if Arsenal's rumored interest in David Villa is true or not? A figure of 17 million Euros is being thrown around but that seems very expensive for a 31 year old injury prone striker with no Premier League experience.

Cheers {Ed052's Note - I highly highly doubt it}

Hi Ed! Just wondered whether you had heard of any transfer rumours relating to Arsenal?

I'd like to see DM, Striker and Theo signing a new contract but it all sounds quite unlikely atm.

Thanks

Sally {Ed022's Note - I don't think Theo will sign a contract at this time to be brutally honest, although things may change. If Theo does indeed depart, I would expect someone brought in to replace him. I've been told it'd be a young player with limited experience, so make of that what you will!}

(0)
(0)

Do you think we would push for zaha to replace walcott or would he be too expensive? Maybe huntelaar if not?
Bedford Gooner {Ed052's Note - Klass is possible but he may agree a new deal. Walcott probably won't move until the summer. A push fr Zaha is possible but he may wish to get Palace promoted}

Hey ed's, not so much anything to do with players. But I wonder what teams you predict will win the league, who finish in the top 4 and who will be relegated.

Ed could you possibly identify the person on the left of this picture. Its a picture doing to rounds on twitter supposedly of an arsenal target in a hotel near london drinking from arsenal branded water bottles and carrying a premier league folder on learning english:

{Ed052's Note - Hello again all. I hope that you all have been enjoying the recent profile us as a team have been putting up; and there should be some more to come soon. However, this is a site for the fans. We don't want to be profiling people you don't read about.

SO, considering that, who would you like to see us profile. Also, do you like the layout of profiles, do you want changes. However, what I would like is a nice long list of profiles you would all like, so us Ed's can gobble them up and produce some profiles to you.

But finally, if you want a profile, but somebody else has already mentioned it, then please mention it again. The more often a player will be profiled, the quicker it'll be done.

Many thanks, and I look forward to hearing your suggestions!!}

{Ed052's Note - Sorry mate, I just cut your post by accident. Well he was out there, in Germany, and was believed to be speaking to a team who have been relegated. The player in question is also rumored to be a youngster. Not sure who though. Hope that helps.}

just wondering why arsenal would sign Wanyama, I mean he is a good player who can slot into center back as well as midfield although he will need time to make the step up and become a full starter for arsenal, and in that time frimpong could become that toughass defensive midfielder. {Ed022's Note - Frimpong is utter crap with a p*ss poor attitude and absolutely no intelligence on or off the field.}

(0)
(1)

Ed were you frimponged? I agree his attitude is poor and the only word he seems to know is dench, which I'm not sure is even a word, but i thought he looked relatively decent. I haven't seen him all that much, but he seemed at a similar grade of football as Wanyama to me. Maybe i saw a decent performance of his, as your judgement on players is clearly a lot better than mine.

Rowan {Ed052's Note - I dont think he is a good player at all. Carn't pass, and just fouls people}

Ed, do you expect Arsenal to make more signing before the end of the window and who do you suspect they could be?

Cheers,

Ed022 please can you give us Arsenal fans some good news in what has been a depressing 48 hours. Thanks {Ed022's Note - Erm, that there is a chance Llorente could sign?}

(0)
(3)

Wow well that really could do a good job of cheering us up. Any idea of the chances of that Ed? Just seems he would be out of Wenger's price range. Also do you know what happened with that Wanyama bid? I'm assuming it was knockes back but have we or do we intend to go in for him again?

Cheers and keep up the great work.

Invincible49 {Ed022's Note - I think it was rejected instantly, and it's possible that's all I'll say.}

Hey guys, just like to say that I think RVP is so very wrong in going to United. It really is a spit in the face of not only you fans but Wenger too. And I think all Liverpool fans can relate to you Arsenal fans as we had the same thing happen with us when Torres ditched us on the last day of the transfer window.

Hey Ed 022 - any idea who Arsenal might look to bring in as RVP is leaving. Can you see any truth in the Llorente rumours?

Also, do you think Song will go?

Thanks mate, you seem to be a guy in the know!

Sally {Ed022's Note - I do believe Song will leave and for me, Llorente is certainly a possibility.}

If song leaves who do you think the most likely replacement, m'vila? {Ed022's Note - Wanyama.}

A question for Ed022, if i gave you £30 to go put three bets on players joining Arsenal, where would your money go?

Cheers

Invincible49 {Ed022's Note - Well if that was 10 pounds each then I'd go like this. Wanyama, Sahin and Tello is certainly possible at this time.}

(1)
(1)

Thanks Ed. I must say if we got those three I would be pretty confident and optimistic going into this season with or without RVP. One more question, do you think Song will leave?

Thanks again

Invincible49 {Ed022's Note - Barcelona are about to bid so we will see.}

To the Arsenal board ( more Arsenalisation ), any chance of helping the supporters bring back the old chant 'We're the Northbank Highbury' call and response with the Clockend and vice versa eaststand & weststand by dividing up the emirates into quarters, i've been missing that ever since we moved there and feel the atmosphere will be amazing with 60,000 playing a part, let me know if you agree, Up The Arsenal.

Hey ed, was just wondering if you could clear something up. Has Cazorla actually signed for Arsenal? if not do you see it as likely that he will. I would love to see him play in the EPL and Arsenal's midfield will be formidable if he does. Still don't see them challenging Chelsea's new look team if they settle well nor City who will develop upon last years performance. Looks like an exciting season nonetheless.

Rowan {Ed022's Note - He hasn't yet signed but it does look likely he will.}

(0)
(0)

Cheers ed, is there a likelihood that any other clubs will look to scupper the deal in a Mata-esque way? I reckon he would be a good acquisition for Liverpool and would suit BRs style, especially if Carrol goes.

Rowan {Ed036's Note - I believe he would fit into most of the premier league. but i dont understand what you mean by Mata-Esque way}

(0)
(0)

I think Mata-esque means that because Arsenal had Mata all but signed then they failed to pay up so Chelsea got in. I think that's what the OP is trying to say to see if L'Pool can sneek in and snatch him.

G95 {Ed036's Note - That definatly would make sense}

Ed what your thoughts on Alex Song. Is he really a world class player? {Ed022's Note - No, to be honest I don't see the big deal with him.}

(0)
(1)

Well said ed, do you know how much we bid for Wanyama?

Clg {Ed022's Note - I think around 6 million.}
