Colidio is just 20 years old and plays like a raw youngster with a lot to learn, though there is a fair amount of promise to his play. In particular he has shown speed of thought, taking quick free kicks when the chance arises.

In the youth ranks he has been a composed finisher who makes decent runs, but nothing particularly outstanding. Like his runs, Colidio's touch is decent but again nothing special and his pace is of a similar level.

He often tries to be clever, with attempts to run the ball or create space through use of skill, which failed to come off in the matches I watched. It left me with an impression of a player that is struggling with the step up to adult football and finding it difficult to reproduce what he showed in the youth game.

Add that to his very half-hearted pressing and tracking back and I see a player that needs a wake up call if he is going to achieve his potential. As of now Colidio is a raw, unpolished player with the potential to be a diamond, but looks to have too many flaws to be a really valuable one.

Unless he knuckles down and works a bit harder, he looks more likely to end up in H. Samuels jewellery than Harry Winston's. There is a real lack of outstanding qualities to his game which leave him looking distinctly average right now. At just 20 years old, he still has a lot of time to improve though and show why Inter brought him to Europe.
